After having seen a number of Tablets, this is the first one that actually beats the iPad, atleast on most of the stuff.
Samsung has gone beyond expectations with its Galaxy Tab 7-inch Android tablet.
Let’s begin with the specs and then nail down to the Overall experience of the device:

ipad-vs-windows-7-tabletIts not about winning or losing, we are happy to start seeing some competition to industry’s most popular Tablet device: Apple iPad.

As illustrated in the video, there are things that iPad would do better than Windows 7 tablet, and vice versa.

The OLP project (a $100 laptop) might have failed to deliver its value, but here is something that might actually bring the change and making Internet truly accessible to almost everyone.

Samsung adds a new Tablet to Androids, what could be considered a competitor to the Apple’s iPad.

The 7-inch Galaxy Tab (previously called  S-Pad), runs Android with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top (similar to the Galaxy S). Samsung revealed it using strange resources: Tweets on Samsung Blog South Africa, it has a “high resolution” screen, it’s has a gorgeous AMOLED display which feeds on lesspower as compared to LED backlit iPad IPS display.

Tablets are everywhere, and everyday there’s a new one that aims on targeting the iPad. Last time we saw WePad, Android based Tablet doing exactly that. A Week back we saw Apple’s Tablet coming to life with iPad. The idea of creating a new segment makes sense. Despite it’s limitations, iPad would Succeed. The idea of creating a new segment makes alot more sense, hence we would see involvement from every key player.

This hack may not be everything that could replace a Tablet but sure is quiet near to be one and more evidently, fun.
