Google gets Visual Image Search [Like.com]

How many times have you liked a shirt and wanted to have it in a different color?  If you are in a store, or online, options are really limited.

What if you can search the same product across 1000s of stores for different colors & specifics in split second? Its possible with Like.com Visual search.

You might be familiar with Google Goggles Visual Search for android, now Google takes a step further by acquiring this company to bring on innovation to its image search.

What exactly is Like.com Visual search?

Like.com has been running as a visual search engine for long and later they went on to launch a number of smaller sites devotes to fashion and e-commerce. The company launched shopping personalization engine Covet.com; acquired street style social network Weardrobe, and rolled out visual styling tool Couturious. Most recently, Like.com launched a fashion Q&A site, What To Wear, which takes on a model similar to Q&A site Quora.
