iOS 4.0.2 breaks JailbreakMe and fixes a serious Flash bug. If you are on iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G, consider upgrading as Jailbreaking is now possible with RedSn0w 0.9.5b5-5.

Note:

  • This guide is for iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G users only.
  • RedSn0w 0.9.5b5-5 is a jailbreak, NOT an unlock.
  • iOS 4.0.2 does NOT update baseband so you can Unlock iPhone 3G with UltraSn0w after jailbreak.
  • RedSn0w hacktivates iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G iOS 4.0.2.

After being able to Install Flash on iPad [Frash], the hack has been ported to the iPhone 4.
