Not long after McGraw-Hill CEO revealed early news about Apple Tablet, more details appear.
First, Engadget found this device running what clearly looks like an iPhone app, although we’ve never seen an iPhone app with that interface or at that resolution before. We also see a WiFi icon and a cell service indicator, although tragically there’s no carrier listed.

Apple’s January 27 event has just been announced to tech journos all over the world with a new invite reading “Come see our latest creation” hitting inboxes left and right. The event will happen on January 27 at 10am PST.

This hack may not be everything that could replace a Tablet but sure is quiet near to be one and more evidently, fun.

Apple must be already happy to see this coming. During the Keynote from Ballmer at CES 2010, HP’s Slate PC was demoed. Not much of a surprise, the Tablet is just average.
The HP device shown up at CES did not appear to be the dual-screen tablet that’s the subject of much rumor and speculation, under the code-name Courier. Finally, we hear the near-confirmed specifications for the Apple Tablet – iSlate.
PhoneArena reports just received some images of what seem to be internal Apple documents, revealing the Apple iSlate specifications. The Operating system is called “Mac OS X Clouded Leopard v 10.7“.
