You are predicting it will be “released in 1 week”. That is already done. That was a week old news. Your article becomes irrelevant now. Why don't you read some full article, it will clear all your confusions.

I'm talking about the actual release and you are talking about the source code. They released the source code to take one more step towards being open source. Using the source code to run on a vmware is a different thing from using the release. Isn't it?

Many suppose that the release will happen next year and the post that I linked above is predicting that may happen next week (according to Mike Arrington, TechCrunch)! Hope now we are on the same page. Eh?

Chrome os is supposed to run only on SPECIAL hardware, which will be available after a year. But coz source code is released, we can run it, today on VirtualMachine. I hope that make things clearer.

When?
Google’s on talking about dates yet—it’ll be sometime next year (mid or late). Executable builds will start appearing online, soon and for the time being, it would work in a virtual machine app like VirtualBox.

I am really confused now. Hmm
